At KALAKRATT, we don’t stand still – like the sea, we are on the move. Creating new flavours is our way of telling the stories of Hiiumaa’s waters. Some of these stories are still in the making, but we can tell you under a veil of secrecy: something exciting is on the way. <\/p>\n\n

Something crunchy…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Something that gnashes your teeth and takes you to the sea in an instant. It’s not just a snack, it’s not just a snack. It’s a crunch with the power of real fish – just the right amount of spice, just the right amount of sea salt. We’re experimenting with how to pack that flavour into the simplest, most enjoyable form. Name? That’s something we’re still figuring out with the crabs. <\/p>\n\n

Something deep and warming…<\/strong>It’s a clear, backbone stew that wants to become the foundation of your home cooking. It’s slow, it’s honest, and it carries both the sea breeze and the warmth of the kitchen. No one can see it directly, but it gives every dish a deeper dimension. The kind of indispensable backdrop you only notice when it’s not there. <\/p>\n\n

Something raw and strong…<\/strong>This newcomer is not afraid of its natural nature. It doesn’t hide itself, it doesn’t want too much impurity. It’s clean, tasty, and just the right amount of crunchy – like the moment the sea touches your tongue for the first time. We still call it a workhorse, but its content speaks for itself. Raw but bold. Genuine in taste, sincere in nature. <\/p>\n\n
